We tend to hold back when we want to let go, because we often think about what we have to lose, instead of realizing what we have to gain (which is way more). Are you ready to discover the hidden powers of letting go? Then continue reading!
We often think that dealing with depression is a hard thing to do. I certainly agree with this, and because there are many different reasons why someone suffers from it, I came up with two simple ways for everyone to apply it into their lifestyles. And yep, meds are not included!
Hi folks! Dounia here 🙂
I’m super excited to share with you all that I will be hosting an Ask Me Anything on AMAFeed, on April 19th 💖 – So, if you have any questions about positivity, personal development or something else you read on my blog that you want to know more about, feel free to ask them here 🤓
I’ll be looking forward to answering your questions! XoXo
You know that feeling when you want to do something but you end up not doing it, because you envisioned 3000 different scenarios of everything that could go wrong? Yeah, it’s time to fix that.. Into envisioning 3001 different scenarios that could go wrong!
If you were looking for a sign to get inspired, then this is it. This is a reminder specially written for you, my dear friend. Because today is YOUR day. It’s YOUR time to shine!
Yes, you read that right! I’m now also publishing content on YouTube. I’ve been working on this for quite a while now and I’m super happy to finally share it with you.
This is my very first YouTube video and channel. However, the content on my channel will be different than what I post on my blog.
What is going to be the difference?
It’s not that much of a difference, to be honest. On both platforms I focus on spreading positivity and inspiring you amazing guys and gals. Simply explained: my blog = my words of wisdom and inspiration, my channel = others’ words of wisdom and inspiration but edited by me.
I’ve never been a good painter or musician but I love to write and edit videos. I love to create content. To create my own art and if I can inspire others by doing that, then my life is complete.
So without any further ado, feel free to check out my video below and if you enjoyed it don’t forget to like and subscribe! Have an amazing sunday! 💋
It all started on October 7th, 1996 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Well, the blogging part didn’t start of course, it’s the date when I was born but you probably figured that out already! Anyway, the nurse at the hospital almost gave me away to the wrong family. She got my momma shook, that’s for sure! Wait, where was I going with this? Oh yes, welcome to my blog!
It’s just in my nature
I’ve always been the type of gal who walked her own path. I’ve almost had every hairstyle, went from Goth, to Hip-Hop to Punk and all of that in one week. Love to binge watch Star Wars and I listen to anything from epic orchestral to pure metalcore.
I’ve always embraced self expression, because it made me who I am today. A nerdy metalhead who loves makeup and nature. But there has always been one thing in particular that I’ve always had within me and never changed. I like to make people laugh and make them feel good about themselves.
Not a day goes by, that I don’t crack a joke and make someone laugh. I’ll always find a reason to crack a joke. It’s just in my nature. And it’s not because I want people to find me funny, because hunny, I laugh the hardest at my own jokes, lol! This nature also reflects on to my writing style.
I don’t do boring, I do not want to blend in. To be different is to be interesting. You’re able to share something new with someone, and with that you can inspire.
Positivity is such a beautiful topic to write about in general. And I really love to ”own the words”, if that makes any sense. What I mean by that is, that even though you guys and gals can’t see or hear me, you still can get my vibe through my writing. It’s like we’re hanging out, having a deep conversation while drinking Starbies, but not really. And I’m like, giving advise and stuff.
I’m just a farm boy, really
I’d like to compare myself to Luke Skywalker. Not because I believe I’m a Jedi (which I actually do but let’s keep that between you and me 😉) It’s because he was once just a farmboy. A farmboy who eventually became a Jedi Master and legend.
Now if you’re not a Star Wars fan you probably have no clue what the fuck I’m talking about. But long story short, we all start from nothing. But as life continues, we see, hear feel, learn and eventually adapt. There is failure, there is lessons to be learned, there is loss, grieve and everything in between. But that is what makes us who we are today. Everything you’re going through in life is for a reason and that my friend, is the Luke Skywalker philosophy I believe in.
It fills my heart
Although I like to make jokes and spaghetti, I can also be really serious – from time to time, of course. Besides all the
funny jokes, I still keep the moral of the story in mind. I take it very seriously because those who read my posts, might be going through a really though time.
I find it very satisfying to help people. I’ve always had that mindset and I knew ever since I was a little girl, that I was going to do something with that gift, because in all honesty that is what helping people is, to me.
I will never take that for granted and I am so thankful that I’ve been given this opportunity. I put my heart and soul into everything I do, because I believe that by sharing your passion with true intentions, it will reflect on what you’re trying to put out there for the world to read.
And since laughter is very important too, I will always – just like in real life – find a reason to crack a joke and hopefully make you laugh. Because at the end of the day, hope is all we can count on and what will get us through the day. ❤
Life has its way of throwing curveballs at you, and that can be pretty tough, challenging and often frustrating. That’s why I want to give you the optimism and strength you are looking for to get through this. And for sure, there are many blogs on the web that can provide you this, but they aren’t a farm boy that destroyed the Death Star. #JustSaying
Good Vibes Boulevard is a blog where any individual in the world can feel free, inspired, ambitious and motivated. It doesn’t matter what race, gender, religion and everything in between. You are all unique, one and very welcome to join the path to a positive life. You don’t have to find solutions on your own, because I will be here to help you out.
Here at Good Vibes Boulevard we believe in one thing and that is to: Conquer From Within. Well, we also believe in ourselves so that means we’re believing in two things, but you get my point!
Imagine being on top of the world. Everything you ever dreamed of is now reality. After all those long years of struggling, failing, succeeding, blood, sweat and tears you finally made it.. Are you imagining it? Good, you’re starting to believe in yourself.
I‘ll dive straight into this topic because man oh man, do you need to get rid of that toxicity. And nope, this time I’m actually not talking about farts. I’m talking about people.
Is failure really that bad? Or is it something we should be thankful for? I was inspired to write this blog post after I finished watching Episode #1041 of The Joe Rogan Experience. It was this part in particular. I love to listen to his podcasts because they’re always so inspiring, interesting and motivational to me. So without any further ado, I hope you enjoy! (because it took me quite some time to write. Ugh, the things I do for my precious readers. *insert heart emoji here*)
